Project M2S Implementation

Implementation of WCM methodologies in our manufacturing plant. Internally to MA Division we develop a specific program called Magnetto Manufacturing System where are implemented all WCM methodologies (8 pillars) and tools, aimed to increase the productivity, reduce the cost and become best in class in automotive industry. We develop the program in 3 years and we involved more than 10 different production plants. We did many training course for each pillar supporting a multi ethnic team to learn and apply the right methodologies suitable for our manufacturing process.

After that, we put in place a concrete system (based on check list) of audit where each year as Manufacturing Governance we check the implementation getting different score compare with the level of improvement done in the plant.

Project SIMATIC IT by Siemens

High performance, high quality and high availability are the everyday targets in a plant, and companies must be able to analyse and identify possible problems and react to them using appropriate corrective actions.

To achieve these goals requires improvements in maintenance and operational equipment performance, so in collaboration with Siemens Italy we develop in our France site an common OEE platform to monitoring the productivity and optimizing the assets using the real time data come directly from the field (connected directly from PLC of the equipments).

We hardly worked in contact with our production plant and Siemens people to define all rules used in the OEE calculation. After that to develop directly on the shop floor the software keeping in consideration the need of white and blue collars. We customize also a web application for our General direction called “business intelligence” where we get the possibility to see all machine performances directly from tablet or smartphone.

Safety day 2013

The safety is a priority in our job, in our house in our life..... every year we (as Manufacturing Governance department ) we organise a work shop dedicated to the shoop floor safety.

In 2013 the foot print of the safety day was the BBS (Behavior Base Safety) we invite around 300 people to assist, we call several professionist to talk about safety, we invite some blue collar to express his vision about safety, we invite the childrens of our employee to skatch some drawing about safety , we get the right importance to the word "safety".

Was a memorable day, impressed in our memory for long long time.....
